GUIDE LINES FOR THE SELECTED CANDIDATES
ADMISSIONS 2012-13

 

FOR THE SELECTED PRIVATE CANDIDATES:
	The selected candidates (private), mentioned in the First Merit List are directed to read the Terms & Conditions for Admission carefully (given below) and if agreed, are directed contact the Admission Cell, PGMI at 6-Birdwood Road, Lahore for the verification of their documents.
	After verification of the documents, they will be issued a Fee Slip for submission of their Fee. The selected candidates will deposit the specified fee at the time of admission as below:-  a)  M.Phil & Diploma courses:                            Rs.12800/-  b)  M.S. General Surgery             (Four Years)   Rs.23600/-  c)  M.D. Medicine                         (Four Years)   Rs.23600/-  d)  Other M.D. & M.S. courses    (Five Years)    Rs.29000/-
	The selected candidates will provide the Fee receipt to the Admission Cell to complete the Admission process.
	The selected candidates will submit an Affidavits of Rs.20/- duly attested by the Oath Commissioner (specimen can be downloaded).
	The selected candidates will deposit the Fee before 10.08.2012, otherwise their admission will be considered cancelled.  The students on waiting list will be granted admission.
	Second merit list will be displayed on 15.08.2012.
	Classes will start from 01.10.2012.(inshallah)
FOR THE SELECTED CANDIDATES ON DEPUTATION
	PGMI will forward the list of the selected candidates to the Health Department for the issuance of the Deputation orders.
	Candidates selected in more than one course are directed to submit written preference to the Admission Cell before 05.08.2012, otherwise will not be allowed to change the course.
	After the issuance of the Deputation orders, the selected candidates will follow the procedure of the Admission as described for the Private candidates.
	No letter will be issued to any candidate. Selected candidates will have to provide the deputation orders to the Admission Cell, PGMI, Lahore to process their Admission.
	Classes will start from 01.10.2012.(inshallah)
TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION IN POSTGRADUATE COURSE AT PGMI, LAHORE The following terms & condition are being offered to the  provisionally selected candidates for Admission in Postgraduate Courses at PGMI, Lahore as displayed on the Website of the PGMI, Lahore.   Selected candidates are required to get the original documents checked and verified at the Admission Cell PGMI, for confirmation of your admission.   Selected candidates are required to get the original documents checked and  verified at the Admission Cell PGMI, for confirmation of your admission.       a)    M.Phil & Diploma courses:     (Two Years)   Rs.12800/-       b)    M.S. General Surgery            (Four Years)   Rs.23600/-       c)    M.D. Medicine                       (Four Years)  Rs.23600/-       d)    Other M.D. & M.S. courses    (Five Years)   Rs.29000/-       e)    MDS courses                        (Four Years)  Rs.23600/-        f)    Foreigners                             (One Year)    Rs.66800/-   Admitted candidates shall submit their total fee of the whole course at the time of Admission (mandatory)   Official accommodation is very limited, and may be provided on first come first serve basis.   Admitted candidates shall be required to maintain proper discipline and satisfactory work progress in the Institute.   Admitted candidates are required to wear white overall during working duty hours.   Text book and other necessary material for your training shall be arranged by yourself.   Admitted candidates are required to submit the Undertaking (specimen attached) on Rs.20 stamp paper separately before joining the course.   PGMI does not offer any scholarship from its own resources during the course of study.   The course is whole time and residential. No job, service or private practice is allowed during the course.   If any discrepancy is found in the certificates/testimonials at any stage student will be liable to disciplinary action as is deemed fit.   If admitted candidate fail to join the course within 15 days of the start of classes his/her Admission shall stand withdrawn and seat will be allotted to the  next candidate on waiting list.   Limited numbers of stipends are available for the admitted students. Admission does  not mean that selected candidates will get the stipend.   Selected Private Candidates working on Contract/ Adhoc basis as a Govt.           employee will have to submit the accepted Resignation letter by the competent   Authority before joining the course.   Admitted candidates will have to join the assigned duties in case of emergency/ disaster at Lahore General Hospital, Lahore or any where in the field. If you accept the above mentioned conditions, you should report to Admission Cell, PGMI, for verification of original documents and deposit the fee to the Cashier, PGMI, Lahore before 10.08.2012.
