(05 Years Duration)

(04 Years
duration)
i) Have
completed one year house job from a recognized teaching institution.
ii) Have Passed Entry Test.
iii) Have appeared in aptitude interview.
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IN M.D. CARDIOLOGY COURSE
(05 Years
Duration)
i) Have completed one year house job with at-least six months in
particular discipline.
ii) One year experience in particular specialty/ Internal Medicine/
Allied
Medical discipline in the given order of preference.
iii) Have Passed Entry Test.
iv) Have appeared in aptitude interview.

months in the relevant subject duly singed and counter signed by the
competent authority.
ii) Experience as a Medical Officer in the relevant subject for at

duly singed and counter signed by the competent authority.
iii) Have passed Entry Test.
iv) Have appeared in aptitude interview.
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IN DCH COURSE
(Two Years
Duration)
i) One
year House Job in a recognized teaching hospital either in Paediatrics
or in Medicine duly singed and counter signed by the Competent
Authority.
ii) Experience as a Medical Officer in the Paediatrics for at-least
one year in
a recognized teaching hospital or in a District Headquarter Hospital duly
singed and counter signed by the competent authority.
iii) Have passed Entry Test
iv) Have appeared in aptitude interview.
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IN DTCD COURSE
(Two Years Duration)
i)
One year House Job in a recognized teaching institution, including six
months in Medicine/ Chest Diseases duly singed and counter signed by
the competent authority.
ii)
Experience as Medical Officer in the Department of Medicine or Chest
Diseases
for at least one year in a recognized teaching hospital or in a District
Headquarter Hospital duly singed and counter signed by the competent
authority.
iii) Have passed Entry Test.
iv) Have appeared in aptitude interview.
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IN DPM COURSE
(Two Years Duration)
i)
One year House Job in a recognized teaching institution, including six
months in Medicine/ Psychiatry duly singed and counter signed by
the competent authority.
ii)
Experience as Medical Officer in the Department of Medicine or Psychiatry
for
at least one year in a recognized teaching hospital or in a District
Headquarter
Hospital duly singed and counter signed by the competent authority.
iii) Have passed Entry Test.
iv) Have appeared in aptitude interview.
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IN DMRD COURSE
(Two Years
Duration)
i) One
year House Job in a recognized teaching institution, including six months
in Medicine/Surgery/Radiology duly singed and counter signed by the
competent authority.
ii)
Experience as Medical Officer in the Department of Radiology for at
least one
year in a recognized teaching hospital or in a District Headquarter
Hospital
duly singed and counter signed by the competent authority.
iii)
Have passed Entry Test.
iv) Have appeared in aptitude interview.
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IN DCP COURSE
(Two Years
Duration)
i) One
year House Job in a recognized teaching institution, including six months
in
medicine/surgery/pathology duly singed and counter signed by the
competent
authority.
ii) Experience
as Medical Officer/Demonstrator in the Department of Pathology for
at
least one year in a recognized teaching hospital or in Laboratory of
District
Headquarter Hospital duly singed and counter signed by the competent
authority.
iii) Have
passed Entry Test.
iv) Have
appeared in aptitude interview.
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IN DMJ COURSE
(Two Years Duration)
Two years
experience as a Medical Officer at Surgeon Medicolegal Punjab duly singed
and counter signed by the Competent Authority.
OR
Two years
experience as a Demonstrator in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology in a
teaching hospital duly singed and counter signed by the Competent
Authority.
OR
Four years
experience as a Medical Officer in the District Headquarter Hospital/THQ,
RHC or equivalent experience in Armed Forces in the relevant field and
submit a certificate from the Competent Authority that he had actually
engaged himself in Medicolegal work (both Medicolegal cases and
Postmortem examinations).
i) Have passed Entry Test.
ii) Have appeared in aptitude interview.
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IN DIPLOMA IN CARDIOLOGY COURSE:
i)
One year House Job in a
recognized teaching institution including six months
in General Medicine/Cardiology duly singed and counter signed by the
competent
authority.
ii) Experience as Medical Officer/Registrar in the Department of
Cardiology for at
least
one year in a recognized teaching hospital duly singed and counter signed
by
the competent authority.
iii) Have passed Entry Test.
iv) Have appeared in aptitude interview.
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IN FCPS PART-II COURSE
i)
Those candidates who have
done F.C.P.S. Part-I or equivalent and seek admission
in F.C.P.S. Part-II, their rural area service compulsion will be deferred
till they
complete their requirements for F.C.P.S. Part-II.
ii) Have passed Entry Test.
iii) Have appeared in aptitude interview.
